Here's what you will be doing:
You will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and guests.
Duties will include:
Providing quality service to the customer by responding to their requests
Ensuring accuracy of reservations
Ensuring all paper work and supporting documentation for all reservations
Reporting all issues and guest complaints to the Supervisor or Manager
Responsible for cashier float during shift ensuring float is counted
Maintaining control of guest and hotel accounts
Ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis
Promoting hotel facilities and maximising sales
Keep up to date with accurate, helpful information
Assisting guests with tour bookings and directions as needed
Handling all calls promptly and professionally
Greeting all callers according
Experience and skills required:
Experience in a hotel front office department
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Good computer literacy
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
